#888888;\">English translation below<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alain Bernardini, n\u00e9 en 1960 \u00e0 Meaux, vit \u00e0 Vitry-sur-Seine, travaille partout et expose r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement depuis 1992. Depuis ses d\u00e9buts, il r\u00e9alise des oeuvres compos\u00e9es de diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments : des photographies, vid\u00e9os, dessins, textes, objets, performances&#8230; articul\u00e9s ensemble pour former un r\u00e9cit qui lie l&rsquo;aspect formel \u00e0 la dimension politique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;exposition <strong><em><strong><em><strong><em>\u00c7a va \u00eatre le silence<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong>est con\u00e7ue dans le sillage d&rsquo;une commande* qui, sur une p\u00e9riode de deux ann\u00e9es, a engag\u00e9 l&rsquo;artiste dans un projet de repr\u00e9sentation photographique des agents hospitaliers. Au moment de sa r\u00e9alisation, cette commande a \u00e9t\u00e9 censur\u00e9e et abandonn\u00e9e, notamment \u00e0 cause d&rsquo;une forte mobilisation organis\u00e9e par les syndicats CGT et SUD qui ont refus\u00e9 le caract\u00e8re libre et jou\u00e9 de la mise en sc\u00e8ne des salari\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le titre de l&rsquo;exposition \u00e9nonce une riposte.&nbsp; La proposition est minimale et radicale. Avec <strong><em>\u00c7a va \u00eatre le silence<\/em><\/strong>, l&rsquo;artiste pr\u00e9sente pour la premi\u00e8re fois une exposition d\u00e9pourvue d&rsquo;images d&rsquo;hommes et de femmes mis en sc\u00e8ne sur des lieux de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dix-huit armoires vestiaires forment un ensemble d&rsquo;objets serr\u00e9s et align\u00e9s qui remplissent l&rsquo;espace dans un jeu avec ses limites. Si l&rsquo;armoire \u00e9voque le rite du passage entre la sph\u00e8re priv\u00e9e et le monde du travail &#8211; elle est aussi per\u00e7ue par l&rsquo;artiste comme un module minimal \u00e0 d\u00e9placer. Une armoire vestiaire est dissoci\u00e9e du groupe. Elle garde sa fonction habituelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une image affiche un paysage urbain nocturne et silencieux. The exhibition <em>It will be the silence<\/em> is no exception except for one difference : for the first time, the artist does not include images of men and women staged in their place of work.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>It will be the silence<\/em> follows a commission* which, over a period of two years, engaged the artist in the photographic representation of hospital workers. At the time of its implementation, this artwork was censored and abandoned, in particular because of a strong mobilization organized by the trade unions CGT and SUD. The latter refused the free and eccentric nature of the images created by the artist.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">The title of the exhibition is a riposte.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Eighteen cupboards form a \u00ab\u00a0demonstration\u00a0\u00bb which invades the space of Contexts. They take up the marches, they move on. A poster and two light boxes, one of which is turned off, accompany this parade.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">If cupboards evoke the rite of passage between the private sphere and the work context &#8211;&nbsp; (changing clothes, shower, basements&#8230;) &#8211; the posted image shows a silent townscape at night, devoid of human presence.
