La commande de CERISE portait sur le souhait que l&rsquo;artiste con\u00e7oive une oeuvre ouverte sur la ville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur la fa\u00e7ade du centre, le nom \u00ab\u00a0Caf\u00e9 Reflets\u00a0\u00bb en n\u00e9on rouge et orange sert d\u2019enseigne, et l&rsquo;ouverture du caf\u00e9 est signal\u00e9e par le fonctionnement de ce n\u00e9on. Le chemin entre l\u2019entr\u00e9e de CERISE et le Caf\u00e9 Reflets est indiqu\u00e9 par un n\u00e9on rouge accroch\u00e9 au plafond du hall. A l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur du Caf\u00e9 Reflets, des images de la vue, au r\u00e9veil, de 180 habitants du quartier sont int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans un faux plafond lumineux et se refl\u00e8tent dans une table en miroir con\u00e7ue sp\u00e9cialement pour le projet. Le dispositif permet \u00e0 chacun de voir son propre reflet dans une mosa\u00efque d\u2019images photographiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La table, \u00e0 g\u00e9om\u00e9trie variable, peut se pr\u00e9senter soit comme une grande table de forme ovale, constitu\u00e9e par l\u2019assemblage de plusieurs petites tables dissym\u00e9triques et de formes diff\u00e9rentes, soit comme une s\u00e9rie de plusieurs tables individuelles. Elle permet une multiplicit\u00e9 de jeux de reflets, o\u00f9 l\u2019image du visiteur devient partie int\u00e9grante de l\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La vaisselle, l\u2019ensemble des assiettes, plats, verres, tasses \u00e0 caf\u00e9, tasses \u00e0 th\u00e9, etc. sont en verre incolore transparent. The commission of CERISE began with the desire that the artist conceives a work opened to the city.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\">On the center&rsquo;s facade, the name \u00ab\u00a0Caf\u00e9 Reflets\u00a0\u00bb, written in red and orange neon, is used as a sign and signals also the entrance of the location. The neon, hung on the ceiling, also serves to indicate the direction to follow. Inside the Caf\u00e9 Reflets, some images of 180 views of residents&rsquo; wakings are integrated into the faux lighting ceiling and are reflected in a mirror table, made especially for the project. The process allows anyone to see their own reflection in a photographic images&rsquo; mosaic.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\">The sliding table can be introduced as a huge egg-shaped table and constitutes&nbsp; the gathering of small different dissymmetrical tables or series of different single tables. It allows people to have a multiplicity of reflective effects, where the image of the visitor becomes totally integrated into the work.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\">The dish, with plates, glasses, coffee cups, etc.. looks like an uncolored and transparent glass.
