Gustave Roussy (IGR) \u00e0 Villejuif. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une r\u00e9flexion sur l\u2019image et sur son statut. Sa proposition s\u2019articule autour de deux peintures modernes&nbsp;; une nature morte aux poissons rouges d\u2019Henri Matisse et une colombe de Georges Braque. Ces deux peintures ont influenc\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de 9 toiles peintes par Claude Rutault pour la Biennale de Paris en 1969. En 1972, la s\u00e9rie a \u00e9t\u00e9 repeinte de la m\u00eame couleur que le mur sur lequel elle \u00e9tait accroch\u00e9e. Les motifs sont aujourd\u2019hui visibles seulement par la&nbsp; radiographie des toiles, r\u00e9alisable par un service sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 du Louvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claude Rutault propose de poursuivre dans le r\u00e9el de la zone d\u2019attente du service les deux th\u00e8mes de cette s\u00e9rie de peintures, par la pr\u00e9sence de plusieurs aquariums contenant des poissons rouges, ainsi qu\u2019une voli\u00e8re de colombes situ\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, sur la terrasse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un rapport visuel est \u00e9tabli, entre les poissons rouges et une autre s\u00e9rie de toiles peintes de la m\u00eame couleur que le mur (ou le plafond) sur lequel elles sont accroch\u00e9es, par l\u2019articulation des poissons rouges qui passent devant, dessous ou encore au-dessus, telle l\u2019image vivante de la nature morte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les poissons sont des plus communs, seule compte leur taille et la franchise de leur couleur, les oiseaux sont des colombes \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ambition est de cr\u00e9er un certain nombre d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements susceptibles de capter l\u2019attention quelques instants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claude Rutault <a title=\"http:\/\/www.cneai.com\/rutault\/index.htm\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cneai.com\/rutault\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.cneai.com\/rutault\/index.htm<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><strong>Fishes are (doing) painting (les poissons font (de) la peinture)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">The proposal related to the project of these waiting rooms, which are located in the unit of Images, in the Institute of Gustave Roussy (IGR), is a reflection on images and their status. His proposal relates to two modern paintings: a red fish still life by Henri Matisse and a dove by George Braque. These two paintings have influenced a series of nine panels painted by Claude Rutault for the Paris Biennale in 1969. In 1972, the series has been painted again with the same color of the wall, where the series was hung. The patterns are visible only through the X-ray photographs of the panel and made by a special laboratory from the Louvre Museum.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Claude Rutault invites the viewer to go inside those waiting rooms, two different themes from this series of painting. It will be composed by different aquariums that contain red fish and an aviary of doves outside, on the terrasse. A visual relationship will be established between the red fish and another series of painted panels with the same color as the wall (or the ceiling) where they will be hung.
