Sa danse est d\u00e9pouill\u00e9e de tout vocabulaire formel et gestuel&nbsp; pour aborder une expression plus&nbsp; radicale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Masaki Iwana est aujourd&rsquo;hui l&rsquo;un des danseurs but\u00f4 les plus appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s du Japon. Apr\u00e8s son dipl\u00f4me en \u00e9conomie de l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 K\u00e9io, il se dirige vers le th\u00e9\u00e2tre. En 1974, il commence son histoire de la danse en marge de la g\u00e9n\u00e9alogie du but\u00f4. De 1979 \u00e0 1984, il pr\u00e9sente plus de 150 performances solo exp\u00e9rimentales o\u00f9, debout, compl\u00e8tement nu et parfaitement immobile, il \u00e9prouve la transformation de l&rsquo;\u00e9tat de son corps dans ses mouvements les plus infimes en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 son environnement imm\u00e9diat. Il cr\u00e9e Namanari (Demi-D\u00e9mon) en 1985 (o\u00f9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois, il porte un costume) qui gagne les suffrages des critiques \u00e0 Paris. Cette pi\u00e8ce conna\u00eet une large diffusion en Europe, aux USA et au Japon. Depuis lors, sa danse a acquis un style androgyne o\u00f9, \u00e0 travers le port du v\u00eatement, il explore la dualit\u00e9 masculin-f\u00e9minin. Depuis 1995, il s&rsquo;est \u00e9tabli en France. His dance is deprived of any formal or gestural vocabulary in order to access a more radical expression.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Masaki Iwana is today one of the most appreciated dancers in Japan. After he graduated from the economic college of K\u00e9io, he was interested in performing theater.In 1974, he began his story with dance, out of the genealogy of the but\u00f4. From 1979 to 1984, he played more than 150 solo experimental performances where, standing completly naked and totally stock-still, he was feeling the transformation of his body through his movements related to the immediate environment.<br>He created Namanari (half- devil) in 1985, where for the first time he wore a costume and received favorable Parisian reviews. This play had a large diffusion in Europe, the USA and in Japan. Since then, his dance has obtained an androgynous style; while wearing special costumes, he explores male-female duality. Since 1995, he has been settled in Paris.
